Car Test Route #01
- Start by driving east on Ebley Street.
- Turn left onto Hollywood Avenue.
- At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Grafton Street.
- Turn right onto Grosvenor Street.
- Turn left onto Edgecliff Road.
- At the roundabout, take the first exit to stay on Edgecliff Road.
- Continue to the next roundabout and take the second exit.
- At the following roundabout, again take the second exit to stay on Edgecliff Road.
- At the next roundabout, take the second exit to continue along Edgecliff Road.
- Turn right onto Roslyndale Avenue.
- Turn right onto Weeroona Avenue.
- Turn right onto Wallaroy Road.
- Turn left back onto Edgecliff Road.
- At the next roundabout, take the second exit.
- At the following roundabout, take the second exit again.
- Then at the next roundabout, take the first exit onto Bathurst Street.
- Turn right onto Fletcher Street.
- Turn right onto Adelaide Street.
- At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Grafton Street.
- Turn left onto Newland Street.
- Turn left onto Ebley Street.

Key Bondi Junction Route Features
Edgecliff Road
This is a major arterial linking Bondi Junction to Edgecliff, and serves as a busy bus route being part of Sydney’s high-frequency public transport network.
Our Tip: There are several loop-style roundabouts, so approach each at a controlled pace, signal early, and be alert for buses entering and exiting the flow.
Grafton Street (junction with Hollywood Avenue)
A pedestrian-heavy zone that's integral to the Bondi Junction bus and train interchange.
Our Tip: You'll need to navigate frequent pedestrian crossings and bus lanes, so stay patient behind buses, check for people stepping out behind stopped vehicles, and maintain smooth braking.
Syd Einfeld Drive (Bondi Junction Bypass / Edgecliff stretch)
A six-lane elevated dual carriageway that bypasses Oxford Street traffic into Bondi Junction.

Bathurst Street Roundabout
A compact, single-lane roundabout situated close to the Service Centre used for navigating into smaller local streets (e.g. Fletcher St, Adelaide St).
Our Tip: Even though it’s small, look for entering traffic, give way appropriately, and exit decisively. Use this small example to build on your roundabout control.

Quiet Hour: Tuesdays from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and Thursdays from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. During these times, lighting, announcements, and background noise are reduced in order to create a less stressful environment.
Driver Testing: Driver tests are available by appointment only, and the centre provides dedicated test parking bays within a short and accessible walk (under 50 m).
Accessibility: Auslan remote interpreting, a hearing loop, live-captioning, wheelchair-accessible counters, accessible toilets, and street-level entry are all present.
