Route Features
Henry Parry Drive
You’ll start and end here, on Gosford's main thoroughfare past the service centre and close to the Station. It’s a busy, multi-lane road with traffic lights and pedestrian crossings.
Our Tip: Confidently choose your lane, maintain a steady speed, and don't forget to use your mirrors frequently... the examiner will be checking.
Dwyer Street Roundabout
Early on in the route you’ll navigate this roundabout, taking the third exit onto Dwyer Street. Part of Gosford’s CBD network, it gets moderate traffic.
Our Tip: Remember to signal right as you enter, give priority to the traffic already circulating, and signal left just before your exit.
Racecourse Road Roundabout
Further along, you'll need to navigate another roundabout, taking the second exit toward Batley Street. This is a common feature on many routes, so worth practising a few times.
Our Tip: Demonstrate proper roundabout etiquette... choosing the correct lane, yielding to your right, then signaling left when exiting.
Showground Road / Pacific Highway Roundabout
Exiting onto Donnison Street, this is a busier, multi-lane junction that connects to Gosford Showground.
Our Tip: This roundabout will demonstrate your ability to handle more complicated environments, and should be treated with confidence like all others.
Practise every official Gosford test route in our app. We recommend driving them all to get familiar with the roads and boost confidence.
