Key Features
Pitt Street
A residential street that forms part of the early test route, and while not especially wide, it can have light local traffic, cars reversing from driveways, and occasional parked vehicles along the kerb.
Our Tip: Keep a steady eye out for doors opening or any sudden stops. Always be ready to gently navigate around parked vehicles while maintaining safe clearance.
Merrylands Road
A sub-arterial route that intersects with the Cumberland Highway and sees a mix of commuter vehicles and local traffic. Frequent roadworks (like the resurfacing near Addlestone Road) may cause delays and lane alterations.
Our Tip: Watch for traffic flow changes, always check your mirrors before changing lane, and maintain a controlled speed.
Albert Street Roundabouts
Twin roundabouts that help slow through-traffic and improve safety for road users, with second-exits used in the test route.
Our Tip: Approach the roundabouts slowly, signal clearly, and yield correctly. Treat each of these as a fresh, individual challenge to build consistency.
Fowler, Hawksview, Harris Roundabouts
Busy suburban roundabouts linking Fowler Road, Hawksview Street, and Harris Street, making it important to choose the correct exit lane each time.
Our Tip: Scan both directions, but focus on your exit. Hold your speed steady throughout the roundabout and signal decisively .

All driving tests must be pre-booked - walk-ins aren’t available. Arrive early, bring your paperwork, and allow time to find your designated testing area.
