Route Features
King Street (B65)
You’ll begin by turning onto King Street, which forms part of the B65 route through Warrawong and Warners Bay. It's a busy arterial, lined with shops, businesses, and controlled intersections.
Our Tip: Check your mirrors regularly here, and change lanes smoothly when necessary.
Shellharbour Road (B65)
This major commuter route has multi-lane stretches and a steady, constant traffic flow as it makes its way toward Port Kembla.
Our Tip: Always match your speed to the traffic when joining, aintain good lane positioning, and indicate early when preparing to leave.
B89 / B57 Roundabout (Macquarie Road & Hillsborough Road)
This multi-lane roundabout joins the B89 and B57, and serves as a key landmark in Warners Bay.
Our Tip: Good roundabout technique is needed here... so slow as you approach, give way to any other cars, and signal left, right before you exit.
Hillsborough Road (B57)
After exiting the roundabout, you’ll now drive along a stretch of the B57, a route linking both residential and rural areas of Warners Bay.
Our Tip: Keep a steady, controlled speed whilst staying alert for vehicles coming out of driveways or side streets. As alway, watch and slow for pedestrian crossings in use.
Every official Warners Bay route is available on our app. We recommend driving them all a few times to avoid any test-day surprises!
