Route Features

Glasson Drive

The first road you’ll turn onto after leaving the test centre. It passes through a quiet residential area before meeting higher-traffic areas, making it an important way to settle into your drive.

  • Our Tip: Look ahead for any vehicles emerging from side roads, and use clear signalling when making the turn onto High Road.

Castile Crescent Roundabout

You’ll need to take the second exit, continuing along Castile Crescent. This clearly marked roundabout should present no real challenges though concentration is still key.

  • Our Tip: Slow down early, look right, and signal left just before your exit. Handling low-speed roundabouts will showcase your control and awareness.

Logan River Road (State Route 94)

A busy connector road used by locals and commuters alike, it’s wider with more traffic, and often has vehicles entering side streets.

  • Our Tip: Maintain your lane discipline, signal early for upcoming turns, and match the speed of surrounding traffic.

Woodlands Boulevard / Jarvis Road Roundabout

Taking the first exit onto Woodlands before immediately taking the second exit later, these back-to-back exits will test your planning and signalling.

  • Our Tip: Consistency here will demonstrate precision under pressure. Approach both roundabouts confidently, but at a slow, steady pace.

Location & Access: The centre offers ground-level entry, and is close to local bus routes. You can check public transport accessibility of buses and trains via TransLink.

Practical Testing: Bethania conducts tests for light vehicles only. Motorcycle and heavy vehicle testing needs to be booked elsewhere.

What to Bring: All learner drivers need to bring their current learner permit, two forms of ID, and a roadworthy vehicle (which will be inspected). If you're under 25, make sure your logbook is completed or digitally submitted beforehand.

Other Support: Services such as photo ID cards, licence renewals, and boat licence applications are also available on-site, with staff being able to assist with all industry licensing and vehicle registration requirements.

Booking Practical Tests

Head to the Queensland Government’s online booking portal to secure your spot. Choose "Bethania" as your location, select a date, and pay online to confirm.

Our Tip: Make sure you’ve completed your logbook and Hazard Perception Test (if required) before booking!
